Photos and info from William
Jackson
Here is a shot of the plastic thrust tube
that I glued into the back of my
plane. This must be done because too much air pressure is lost due
to the
large volume of space behind the fan unit. I cut off a Pepsi plastic
cup top
to make the tail cone to lower the diameter of the back end to give
better
top end performance. To date I have 65 flights on the plane.
My practice plane and my F86 jet
Here is the shot of my air intakes cutout
for better airflow to the fan
unit, less air disruption to the fan not having to go past the aileron
servo
and the nose gear shaft.
Thanks again to William
Jackson for all the photos and info on his Kyosho F-86F.
