The 40th Anniversary Celebration and Air Show is over, but we had some great times. Here are photos of the one of the best RC fields in North Texas ( Thunderbird Field ) Located right next to Lake Benbrook. This event was open to the general public to attend. A true " RC Air Show" from fixed wings to the most advanced rc helicopters on the planet. If you ever thought about shooting down a RC airplane - you missed out. Step right up to the runway and try to shoot down a rc trainer aircraft ( special thanks to those brave rc pilots and their airplanes. ) Special thanks to Paint Ball Players Supply for bringing their Paint Ball Guns and accessories. Over 1500 people were in attendance thorough the day. And what would a Air Show event be without two full size helicopters stopping by. Special thanks to Summit Helicopters of Addison and the Fort Worth Police Department for bringing their Bell Jet Ranger to the event.
